Disney!
My sister watches both, but I've loved Disney Channel for years...I just like the TV shows and characters much more.
And I like all the movies they show; and now my sister can enjoy the same movies I enjoyed watching when I was younger. It's also more wholesome than Nickelodeon overall. I've seen some stuff on Nick that isn't always very appropriate for young children.
Disney is also much more of a family-orientated channel; I know way more teenagers/ young adults who watch Disney than who watch Nick. Most adults I know with young children also prefer Disney as well.
But I will say the early morning shows on Nick can be great for little kids (Blue's Clues, Dora the Explorer). But as for the rest of the time, I still say Disney for sure.

On disney channel, the shows have more humor. Drake and Josh is the only show on nickelodeon that's funny and makes a little sense.

they both were alot better a few years ago
they both went down the drain. i used to like disney better but i like nickelodeon better now because disney's shows are all the same.

Disney during the evening. during the day both channels are geared toward children so neither right now.
