The situation we are in, and have been in for several generations, is one in which intelligent, representative government is increasingly impossible, simply because of the sheer size and scope of government. If we want a government that is controlled by our representatives, we need a government that is sufficiently limited in size and scope for it to be humanly possible for our representatives to know and understand what it is doing and what is being suggested that it do. For the people's representatives to regain control of the government, its size and scope must be radically reduced.

Actually you are voting to tell your state representatives, how they should vote in the electoral college. That is why is it so important to carry key states like California and Texas. They have the most votes in the electoral college.
This is better than the president being voted on by a popular vote. If you look at the Bush/Gore election, you see how they fought over every vote in Florida. Think if that were to happen through out the nation.

it rather is the identifying ingredient as to whom would be an elector. it continues to be a vote. to describe it so a Democrat can comprehend it once you vote for a candidate quickly it rather is a vote. You forged a pollat a polling place. once you vote for an elector you're vote casting for a proxy who will forged a pollfor the state whilst electing a president to symbolize the Union. once you are trying this you're additionally vote casting. usual vote s are utilized in a Democracy. we live in a Republic.

it just doesn't work because less then half the eligible voters don't vote...
and the electoral college are just delegates that represent the states... it's almost as if your represaentatives and senators cast a vote for the pres (same # of votes as there is congresspersons)
Something needs to change ...

Electronic machines are programed to choose the candidate, IT would surprise me if Dubya won the next presidential election too, unless someone reprograms the machines in time.
