A good trick is if you spoon-feed your child the just pour some water into the spoon with the food. Babies never seem to notice in my experience. Also sometimes babies will not drink cold water (or juice in your case), they prefer it if it is warmed up

Don't force her to drink just plain water. Water down her juices as much as possible or buy Water Waves Capri Sun Juices it has more water than juice and its sugar free.
For example get a glass of juice and drink it all and then fill it about half way with just plain water. Don't rinse the glass out before you put water in it though and thats the same exact taste you will get out of Water Waves Capri Sun Juices my 2 1/2 year old just loves them.

Take her to the store and pick out a couple of sippy cups and see if she grabs one over the other. Wash it when you get home fill it with room temp water and see if she'll drink. She may see it as a toy that she can put in her mouth, just like other toys with casue and effect at this age. My only other suggestion would be to put diluted apple juice but I see that won't work. Formula is 80% water as it is, no need to dilute, so don't worry about dehyration too much unless she's been sweating alot in these hot summer months.

Try giving her water in a sippy cup or just a regular cup with designs on it to attract her attention...also what I did with my daughter was I let her drink from a straw and she loved it. Even if she cant drink from the straw yet, you can still give it to her by covering the tip of the straw and letting the juice or water come out from the other end...my daughter thought that was fun and she drank it that way until she could do it on her own. Hope that help!

She does not need to drink water until 12 months. Anything before that is just to get her to acquire the taste for it and practice with the sippy cup. Just put an ounce or two in the sippy cup and let her learn to drink it.
My two year old likes milk and water but not juice, also.

She does not NEED to drink water until she is 1 year old. But I must say I never met a baby that doesn't like juice. I don't know what to tell you on that one!

Please dont dilute the milk. You're only taking nutrients away from your daughter. She should still be on formula or breast milk till shes 1. Then switch to WHOLE milk. If you're concerned about hydration, how about offering pedialyte. Just keep offering the water. Try with ice cubes in it. The knocking nose the cubes will make in the cup is fascinating to the kids!

At this age it is not really that important that she drinks water. However, my nephew was the same way with water and juice. I asked my sister if he drank his formula warm she said yes so I suggested she give warm water or juice and it worked. He just wasn't use to drinking cold liquids.

all my 3 kids started to drink water from the first days of their life, sometimes after the milk, or every now and then during the day. They seem like the freshness of the water.
You should make them acquantant with both water and juice, if juice, start from citruit and natural squizzed one, like lemonate, orange ... I think all babies and kid like sweet-sour taste.
