Kobe Bryant is a good player but his stats do not compare to the stats of many players in the NBA including Shaquille O'Neal, LeBron James, and Ben Wallace to name a few NBA Players that have strong talent like LeBron James.

Wilt chamberlain had 100 points and has set evry single record ever for stastistics dealing from points to rebounds but nobody considers him the best ever. Bill russel was better than him whe they would go at it because he wus a team player. He would shut Wilt down evry game. High numbers dont mean nothing withought a win. Kobe is one of the best as a player as an individual talent but not as a teamate, but hes getting better at that, Hes only 27 hes got sum years to prove hes da best.

Right now if you look at who is consistently in the top scoring ranks and making the all defensive team every year.
then there is no queston KOBE is the best.

But it all depends on what your team needs.

The people who hate on Kobe would be wearing his jersey right now if he was on their team. Trust me, I respect Nash, i love his game, but i can't stand em, cuz he ain't a Laker.
