It depends. For cleaning purposes, a shower is definitely better than a bath where one is basically marinating in one's own filth. However, I have to agree with an earlier poster who stated something about relaxing - and one can do that when one has a 6-foot tub! Ahhhhh!

Shower. A bath is relaxing, but with the right shower gel or aromatic shower accesories, I've found that a shower can actually relax you more. Plus, in a shower, there is always water running, so the sound is far more relaxing. And the warm water ions falling from the showerhead into the air, actually have a soothing effect, studies show. Another benefit is that you get much cleaner in the shower opposed to the bath because you don't sit in your own filth. POINT-shower.

It all depends. Most bathtubs are really a bit small for two people. On the other hand, have you ever tried candles in a slow, relaxing shower? Doesn't really work. It's all down to versus for courses ... ah, that should be 'horses'.

Bathtubs with a shower head so you can pick. Every time I take a bath I have to finish with a shower.

I actually like to take a nice bath and then quickly rinse off with a very quick shower. So both I guess. It also depends on how you want to feel. A shower can be very refreshing, and a bath can relax you.

I have both( a bath tub with a shower head). That way I can have whatever I want. I like showers better though

Showers to actually bathe. I have always hated the fact I was lying in the filfth that I just washed off.
But
Baths are good for relaxation or healing sore muscles and great with someone else.
