America has lost its way because very few leaders have vision.
What I mean, is a person who can see where we're heading and make adjustments to avoid a crash.

Most so-called leaders are only interested in short-term gains.
Either their own reelection or padding the pockets of political friends (be they special interest groups, religious organizations or lobbyists).

As much as I dislike President Bush, I would never wish physical harm to him.
The Office of the President should still be respected, despite the person sitting in the Oval Office.
You should rethink your question about off'ing him.
Who do you think would take over?
That's right: Dick Cheney.
And that is a pretty damn scary thought!

Look, it'll be only a few short months and Bush will be gone.
Think: 01.20.09
Go to the link and countdown with me!
It's good for a laugh, even if our country is in a lot of pain, thanks to that man.

Your comments are seditious.

We no longer enforce those laws.
We will never allow a dictator in this country. Bush was elected by our system, and will leave the system the same way. He deserves our respect, but that doesn't mean that legitimate dissent, disagreement, and even protest isn't appropriate.

But to undermine our country in a public forum? To "diss" our President publically rather than question his policies?

You are empowering our enemies, and shaming us to the world.

For someone who knows SO little about history that they have to ask: 'why we don't have a king or queen', you have shown an amazing amount of ignorance.

Your comments about the attacks on our President show that you feel exactly opposite to your claimed "I don't hope not".

Your behavior is anti-American and undermines our country and our government.

Oh, you have free speech, but you side with our enemies.

You will be answered every time. We have free speech, too.

Not all of us agree with President Bush's or President Clinton's policies. But we are Americans. We'll side with them over you any day.

Try the word, "traitor," on for size and see if you still want to head this direction. I may report this statement to the FBI. You might want a lawyer. You have free speech, but don't you ever, even indirectly, suggest violence toward our officials again.

Wow, long description.
In a way, Bush is like a tyrannical king or queen would be, only caring about empowerment. The main problem with our government is that the people stopped caring long enough for someone like him to get in. People need to get back to taking an emotional stock in what our government does, then it will get back to serving them instead of corporate interests.

Look at the people and the media; not just the news but entertainment.

Authority is dead; cursity is dead. What lives since the '60 is me and let's put my a#s in the face of others so that I can pose as being important.

When you are setting in your car with the windows up at a stop light and find yourself vibration to a sound system two cars over, look at that person, content in his self importance making your life unpleasant. That is an example of American culture today.

Get a load of this if you want f#@%ed up. The southern christians are rabid for Isreal to take over more land because the "Bible says" when Isreal is restored Christ will return. They have no thoughts for is Palestenians. This religious group used it's political power (votes, money) to push our leaders to give Isreal all it wants. Welcome to the land of screwed up.

That is the most ignorant comment I have heard in a while. You obviously haven't lived under an oppressive monarch or dictator. Move to North Korea and get back to me.

it is not simply this government it is the very concept there in monarchy failed more so, for these are systems which are founded on forcing others to do what they want it is this concept of initiatory force that is "so f'd up", we know in our day to day lives that it is wrong for one to initiate the use of force on another, and in despotism we saw that it was wrong for one to initiate the use of force on the many, but we have yet to realize that it is equally wrong for the many to initiate force on the one or many. for it is the very initiation of force which is wrong but we are born into it and are considered to be tacitly consenting to it, by our very existence this problem is epistemological not political.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Remember that.

And just because a leader "sucks" does not mean that we should assassinate them.
