I am (moc) and receptoionist for a large business company. I rout the mail every day, most people don't want the reply envelopes that come with some mail, so I throw them all away before I start routing the mail, before I can rout the mail I must open it all, there is one employee who wants these reply envelopes but by the time I rout his mail all of the envelopes are thrown away, every day he comes up here, well it's kinda hard to explain he politely insults me, and I get sick of it, I would fix the problem but I don't know how

this is where you guys come in,

what do you think I should do?

Politely tell him that you would happy to send his mail to him unopened and there is no such thing as a polite insult. Speak up and stand up for yourself, because generally no one else will.

If you open the mail every day you should have a fairly good idea of what mail might be his before you open it. If you suspect it may be for this person, take a peek. If it is, leave it in the envelope with all of its contents. Or, save all of the return envelopes for him. Help him out.

If the mail is addressed to the individual people, don't open any of it. Tell them in a polite manner that you are uncomfortable opening mail addressed to others.

Let them deal with the trivial return envelopes.

Search out his mail, if he takes the trouble everyday, you should too.

Drop the problem to your supervisor or boss. Explain what the situation is and see if he or she can help you.

I'd offer to do this for him since it's only him, but make him say please and thank you. He'll get the idea and stop insulting you.
