ok so for summer school i have been attending this school called t.a.p.p. teenage parent program. almost all the girls here have had babies, have babies, etc. but my question is , why do teens want to have babies so young??

imm a young teen and i dont want a baby but some of my friends have babys not couse they wont them couse they cant keep their legs closed

Some young girls want to have babies because then they feel needed. That's why many troubled teens have kids at such a young age...

Cool i went to T.Y.P.P (Teen Youth Pregnancy Program)not sure but sometimes us girls are not focusing at what parenting really is sometimes we just do it because of Love and of the love we supposedly have comes baby...........

Because they are mis-guided and think of babies as lovely cuddly
and soft meanwhile not even thinking about how they will care for them, feed, educate and clothe them. Basically teenage girls are still babies....

Usually the pregnancy was an accident. If they did plan a baby, it was to try and keep their guy, or to have someone to love them.

It's usually not planned. Sometimes they were calling for it by not playing safe, and not using protection. Other times it happens even though you took all the protection.

I'm not sure they actually want to have babies so young. I think they were either unsafe , uninformed or had the attitude it wouldn't happen to them.

they don't want to...they're just irresponsible and think that their "man" is going to be there for them. Thay have the babies because they have high moral and don't believe in abortion, which is good. However, they should stop at one so we don't have to pay for them...

b/c they are looking for someone to love them? they don't think of the lifetime responsibility and therefore their child will probably grow up just as lost and confuse and continue the vicious cycle. just my thinking.

usually they don't but accidents happen and they are afraid to tell their parents.So they end up having a baby.
