Wow, so many choices, but for me it has to be someone who makes the band, so that rules out Robert Plant from Zeppelin, because that band was much more than the music with the voice. But it shouldn't be someone who is better on their own, like Peter Gabriel.
David Lee Roth. He was the best lead singer, but was nothing without the band. the band went on without him, but lost their early edge. Oh, or Zach de la Rocha from Rgae Against the Machine. Wow, was he ever intense!
