Greed is costing me my family. The government is just a bunch of people you don't know telling you to go kill a bunch of other people you don't know.

Don't you think there is something wrong with the "government trying to tell someone else how to "clean house" when they can't clean up their own backyard?

It's not benefical to anyone, War never is, it's a costly program, with no real winners. We all lose.
If Iraq, had no oil, like the Sudan, do you really think we would be there now.

if one were able to DECREASE Iraq's oil production, the demand & price would increase. As most of this administration is either former OIL or DEFENSE executives, I'm sure they have campaign/election debts/favors to repay.
USA already has enough oil for the important (rich)people. Oil companies are going to try to make as much money as possible before oil is gone. Then these companies will have alternative fuels to fall back on.
Also, the "war on terror" is a diversion so the resistance in America can be safely eliminated w/no questions asked.
I'm serious. THINK about it. Read "1984" & "This Perfect Day". Just look at all the rule changes with the patriot act. Wasn't it PERMANENTLY renewed last year/early this year? A bill that makes sweeping changes to the CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS of Americans, and we didn't get to VOTE ON IT.
I never heard any specifics from the mainstream media about it they just glossed over it "it's called PATRIOT ACT, must be a good thing, besides still I'm scared from 9/11. Better give up my rights so Big Brother will keep me safe." This thing allows them to do what ever they want to you LEGALLY. Before most of the searches & stuff weren't legal without a warrant.

Think about these point for more than 30 sec. before you flame me.

Greed? How can you even think that with what this war is costing us? If we were truly greedy we would have taking that money and bought the oil from Saddam. It would have been a hellava lot cheaper that way.

Liberals just refuse to see what our President is trying to do. They are stuck on stupid. The plan was to get rid of Saddam. Ok, done. The plan was also to introduce democracy to the middle east. If it works, other countries my follow suit later. Its a long shot, and it may not work, but its worth a try.

Thats really all there is to it. No big oil conspiracy. No haliburton consiracy. No bin laden/Bush connection. None of the wacko/dem/liberal/socialist hogwash applies.

This war benefits me because I AM a U.S. citizen. I witnessed the 2 towers fall in NYC on 9/11 , and I am well aware of the threat. I did NOT forget, like so many liberals seem to have. I am happy to see the terrorist flocking in large numbers to fight our troops in Iraq, rather than hiding in small rooms plotting to kill more americans in NYC, Chicago, or Miami. I hope they continue to join the insurgencies in Iraq and Afganistan, and continue to die for their cause. And I hope we never give up the fight until there is no more fight left.

I think it is totally unnecassry. But there are good reasons like we are fighting to save those iraqis that would be killed by their own. We have gone too far with this war, we are losing soldiers for no reason. BUSH SUCKS...its ironic the worst president we have does not get assasinated but the good ones do. Just shows how much our country appreciates itself. I personally do not consider death as a punishment that is why i believe this war like all other wars is pointless.

THe government tries to prevent death and injury for a punishment but when it comes to them death is the only key to success. They are so contradictory. Losing our own men is not ok, if Bush had to go to war he would call it off. he has no remorse and neither does the government backin him up. I LOVE OUR SOLDIERS...but for now on, DONT SIGN UP!!! especially with bush as our president, its ****** SUICIDE
