The closer to Johnstown the better

The resevoir above Johnstown that broke the dam and caused the great flood...but the game wardens might cite you. There are many great little lakes all through the Alleghenys...all are great...check to see if it's private first. If it is, check with owner to see if it's okay.

make a weekend of it and go to the juanita river or to cowans gap
