You'll just know, but you have to make it past that common phase of lust first. Usually the first 11-18 months are the phase where serotonin in your brain is in high gear during a new relationship. The chemical is what causes the extreme jealousy and very frequent intercourse. This is infatuation but after that period settles down a bit you will begin to feel like without them life is almost truly unbearable and they become your other half like a twin. Then if you are both committed and are monogamous it just might be that out of the ball park over the stars kind of true love!

I knew that i was really in love with my husband when we didn't have to have sex before marriage to realize that we had a deep bond to each other. I realized that I was in love with my husband when I offered to do things for him and he allowed me to and offered to do things for me in return. I knew when we got together that we had some of the same likes and dislikes. We were both stubborn and bullheaded, but willing to talk and negotiate. We still do those things. i don't know if it's the same for everyone or not, but that did it for me. He never disrespected me. We are friends as well as lovers and i think we will spend the rest of our lives together. Find the special things in your relationship, the things that you can't stop thinking about. I think you never know, it just happens and then you feel it.

You can tell by the feeling inside. You'll know when you are falling for someone, or when you want to spend A LOT of time with them.

You know if that person makes you feel like you have never felt before. Like no one elsecan make you feel! If they makes you happier than you have ever been, they are the one! Most of the time you can feel it on your own, but sometimes you need a little push, to remind you of why you are asking the question. Do you love her/him?

well how i knew is bcuz at the sound of his voice my heart began 2 race..when he kissed me my knees got weak..i got butterflys at the sight of him..my heart flutters when he tells me he loves me..
he does the sweetest things for me n its the little things that mean the most..after an arguement (when im wrong n dont want to admit it) he just lets me have my way..hes there 4 me when i need him..hes by my side always..weve been thru a lot n it has only mad us stronger..he is my best friend, my better half..i cant picture my life wit out him..hes my backbone

You can just feel when it's love. Love is joy, peace, and happiness with another. If your hurting constantly, being mistreated, abused, sad, and feeling lonely and your with someone your not dealing with love.
The joy, peace, and happiness I refer to as love should ventually lead you to being in a position to feel you can spend your life with this person.

My mum told me once that if you feel that you could never live without that person then you also know you need to be with him/her the rest of your life. It worked for me! :)
