Yes, I agree with "doddicus". Out of whole Europe - including Spain and Greece, I'd say the best beaches are in Turkey. especially Olu Deniz!

One of the best beaches I have ever been is in Malta ( A small island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea) its name is Adira, it's very hot in Summer there and there's another bay its name is the Blue Lagoon, its in Malta's archipelago but on an other island named Comino.

the best British beach i have visited is in Dartmouth, called Blackpool beach, its a private beach so you have to pay a fee, well worth the cost

In the UK, Whitesand Bay/Sennen Cove in Cornwall.
On the continent it is said to be Koukounaries (spelling?!) in Greece, though I've never been....
