The favorite going in was Brazil. Brazil didn't impress people much in their first two games, but was much better in their third.
I'd say the favorites now are, in this order:
Brazil
Argentina
Germany
England
(I just double-checked this with an off-shore betting site, and it is exactly the way the odds currently run -- these teams are followed by Italy and Spain, and then the Netherlands.)
England was higher before the tournamanet, but haven't been that impressive in play, and Germany has been better than expected.
Ghana is a sentimental / Cinderella favorite, but unlikely to win.
