Get a plain aspirin tablet and get it wet. Rub it on the cold sore. It helps to dry it out.

YES take L'lysene on a daily basis!!! it really works i used to get them once a month. since i started about 2 years ago i havent gotten one since. every once in a while you'll feel one coming just double up that day and its gone later that night. its very safe! its an amino acid. you can get it at any vitamin store. and its cheap!!!

Hydrogen peroxide cures them most of the time and it can hurt at first but L- lysine can prevent them if cause by some types of viruses
