Positive.......for sure. It works with kids & animals. Heck, it even works with spouses! You can get more with honey than with vinegar.

Depends on what you want to achieve. Good behavior needs positive reinforcement, and bad behavior needs negative reinforcement.

It depends on the person.
But in my experience, positive reinforcement has always yielded better results.

proactive, positive reinforcement when you "catch them doing good" and natural consequences are good types of reinforcement.
