Though some say they only focus on the inner beauty of a person intead of the outer beauty, that can never be true. we all wish that who we look at is decent enough for us to look at and though most of the time a person is beautiful on the inside, it will effect our connection with that person if they are hard to look at. Say a guy is really smart and sensetive on the inside. Conciderate, and listens to your feelings, though he has good quality, we, sadly, wouldn't think of them as more than just a good company if his appearance isn't nice to look at. We look on the outside, because we believe that those with beauty on the outside could be beautiful on the inside too....or not.

Because you can tell a fair amount about a person by how they present themselves. Hygeine, particularly their hair and makeup (are they doing too much, not enough, or are simply on a completely different wavelength)? Fashion sense (as it relates to overall personal sensibilities)? Apparent cost of clothes (for both socioeconomic status and potential cost of relationship)? Skin and muscle tone (for gauging health and activity)? How do they move their eyes (and where do they rest their gaze)? Do you like the sound of their voice?
There's a lot you can tell about how much you want to be around somebody even before you get to know them, so long as you know what you're looking for. And while you might miss out on some interesting people and/or relationships, chances are they would've been far more effort than you wanted to commit to them anyway.

thats not entirely true. The woman i'm kinda with now is FAR better looking than me (i think) but she judged on what she saw within. Its in this quality that i find greater love for her, that she can appreciate the who of a person and not the what of him. She's a good person and hopefully there are more who think like she does.

Like, why do people judge others based on appearance? Because that's the first impression you receive of a person usually.
