If you want the blue to stand out more...it is best to use earth tones...different shades of brown. Use brown eyeliner too, but use black mascara...it really shows off the blue. You shouldn't wear blue or green on or around your eyes because it competes with your eye color.

I am a self-proclaimed makeup expert, so if it's worth anything here are my two bits. I actually have the same kind of eyes and have found (as a general) that browns, golds, & pinks are most complimentary. They look most natural while accentuating better than most other colors. I am a huge fan of the two-toned stuff. Like an eyeshadow with a gold base. The gold based eyeshadow looks like it has a gold shimmer and makes your eye shape stand out along with the color. Try using a shadow with the same tone as your skin. Then apply a darker tone towards the outer side of each eye and blend it in the middle. use a lighter tone (slightly lighter than your skin) just under your eyebrows and on the inmost part where your eye corners with your nose (the tearduct). If you want to use eyeliner I recommend browns. Avoid the blacks. Black is nice and will really make your eyes pop, but it tend to look much more gaudy and well, like makeup. Its good for going out on the weekends. But when people look at you they'll look at your makeup first, instead of you. Everyday makeup should look natural. Cause its your features that make you look beautiful, NOT the makeup. Unfortunately most people don't get this concept. Its just like dressing in a way that flatters your body and your style. If you want to add other colors, do it in tiny amount like an eyeliner on your bottom lid. Do it just under the tear duct upto where your eyelashes start. There are lots of things you can try with that. Just dont overdo how much color you put on. I could blab on forever I have lots of other tips and ideas so if your interested you can email me.

i have blue gray eyes and light skin too. I like to use light browns and pink. Maybe gold once in a while. And for eyeliner i use this really pretty deep teal eyeliner, it's discontinued but the deep blue green looks really great with blue grey eyes.

Usually brown looks nice on a girl with blue eyes. It's usually the opposite on the color wheel, green eyes, purple, etc.

use black liner. don't use too much, just put a little line on your top eyelids, right where your eyelashes start. this will bring out your eyes. then use a light blue or green eyeshadow
