I was thinking of being a sculpture or a game designer. I love video games play them everyday, but art seems to be more of a hobby. But I was thinking of starting a online business with art, or should it be video game business; due too it be more demanding?

i say that you should do something that you would love doing for about 12 hours, 5 times a day, for 30 years. If you prefer gaming more than art, than you should do game designing.

I went to art school, and look what it got me, a boring job sitting behind a desk doing nothing because I can't make any stinking money being an artist. But I get to play on Yahoo Answers all day! Definitely go for the gaming, it is in such high demend, and well paid. Take a few fancy schmancy art classes on the side to get all of that artistic stuff out of your system. Keep it as a hobby.

There are not many sculptors who make a living at it.

There are waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many electronic media artists, so the odds of finding a good job there are slim unless you are reallyt exceptionally talented and highly, highly skilled.

A good rule of thumb: desirable jobs tend to be poor careers because competition kills the market. Really nasty jobs, on the other hand, tend to pay very well and have lots of availability for those who can stomach them. See Mike Rowe's TV show "Dirty Jobs" for a few examples...

In the middle, there is good demand and good pay for tradesmen, like electricians or telecom techs or carpenters or plumbers (plumbing can be nasty, of course). The trades are undervalued in our society so it can be easy to get a good, high paying job there.
