Usually, I'm all for women's rights and all that stuff. But when it comes to soccer, it's all about men. I hate women's soccer. Sure, it might be fun to play or whatever. But to watch it? BORING. And to answer your question, I really don't think it would. On the the contrary, it most likely decrease. Women have different standards regarding physical shape, and it would create disadvantages for teams with more women than men. Also, this would create conflicts regarding how many men/women would be allowed per team. I like it the way it is.

increase? It would highly decrease. I am a fan of women's sports and I'll be the first to tell you men are more athletic. The U.S. women's national team tied 2-2 against the U-16 mens team that won National's that year (it was a club team, i believe from California).

I'm hoping this comment isn't based from the difference between the U.S. national men's team and the womens' team saying we need that help. The women would be torn up. It's a totally different game, ask any trully honest talented girl. It's a different game

Are u serious? It would be the worst idea if a soccer team were composed by both men and women. Do u really think that if they play together the level of game will increase? I DON'T think so.Nobody will watch football anymore

Not a good idea - male athletes are stronger than their female counterparts so would be a bit of a mis-match. Having said that, I am sure all of the female footballers in the world would have no trouble beating the likes of me in a game of footie - you idea would make the swapping of shirts at the end of the game more interesting.

lets get this right buddy, it aint "soccer" unless your a really stupid yank. its football. we invented the game. men are too physically strong for women in that respect. put in a hard challenge like the one David Buust got for Coventry in 1996 against Man Utd and the female would still be crying now. Women have there own teams like they should, its good that they get involved with the sport but they gotta play at there own standards. basically they'd just get hurt

You must be joking!!

Women with men on the soccer field competing for a prestigious tournament as this?? No way. The level of the game won't even decrease, it will come to naught..

No.

Have you seen the level of women's FOOTBALL (it's not F'ing soccer!), whilst the standard has increased rapidly in the last few years it's still nowhere near the standards of the men's game.

no, because phisically men are stronger than women. They run faster and kick harder and also they can hurt a lot more another player than a women.

Mentally we are equal but phisically its another story.
