If you have a licence to run a liquor store it is very unlikely that you would not be allowed to sell ice. This is a very related product that customers would need to be albe to use your product.
There would have to be special cercomstances to make that illegal.

It's probably illegal if the ice-making system either does not meet commercial code requirements or has not been inspected, or both. Making ice in a refrigerator in the back room will not do.
By the way, in most states, kids' lemonade stands ARE illegal.

Reading Maryland law at http://compnet.comp.state.md.us/red/attb/default.asp , it appears that it's legal for you to manufacture and sell ice at your liquor store unless you're in Montgomery County.

Ice? No way... I refuse to believe it'd be illegal to do that. It's no different than making hand-made pens and selling them or anything like that.
I mean, if it's illegal for you to make and sell ice, then it's illegal for kids to have lemonade stands!

I couldn't say. But I've worked at gas stations, and we had an ice machine and bagged it up and sold it. I would call the liquor board.
