Oprah is a graduate of Tennessee State University, with a degree in Speech and Performing Arts.

Oprah went to Tennessee State University -- which is about as different from Brandeis as you can possibly find.

I wouldn't be surprised if she had an Honorary Degree from Brandeis (or anywhere else, for that matter).

She graduated from Tennesee State. She gave a commencement adress at Brandeis. (So did Desmond Tutu.)
