I don't know that I have a favorite now but when I was a child I use to play with praying mantises.My mom told me I hid one in the mailbox one time. When the mailman came and opened the mailbox,the praying mantis flew out and scared him half to death!

wooley bears I don't know if anyone else knows what they are (maybe that's not even their real name) they are shaped like a little worm but they are fuzzy and usually brown.. They are actually cute and you can let them crawl on you and it tickles sorry... I grew up in the country.

Ladybugs because they look so pleasant. Praying mantises because they look so neat. Caterpillars because they tickle on your hand and go through metamorphosis.

I like ladybugs because they tickle you when they crawl on your hand and they don't give out disgusting odors or poisons.
