True story:I asked a question yesterday just for fun to counteract someone else's question(right-wing nutbombs do it all the time).I
got the usual mix of answers, with one very long peice of hatemail from a real nut at the end.
So I copied and pasted his reply into my next question "How am I supposed to be more conservative with vitriol like this?"
Conservatives are almost invariably filled with vitriol. So what does
he do? He responds with another screed, this time a full-fledged personal attack. He said my mother "should have aborted me",and this from an anti-choice Republican.Respect for life my foot!
So I then asked a 3rd question about THAT.Most of Bush's fan couldn't answer, apparently. It told me all I really need to know about reactioanry political junkies.
And oh yeah, some letters to the editor of PLAYBOY,written by bald aging toilet wankers call Al Franken "morally bankrupt" for wanting peace and equality.
How can these right-wing hate cases be so morally bankrupt?

I answered a question today where a liberal is calling for the death of Ann Coulter. There have been other questions posted on here where people have asked why isn't Bush dead yet. A democrat said that Bush should be shot between the eyes on national tv. There is plenty of hate and vitriol from the left. The problem is that you agree with it so you don't see it as hate.

EDIT: The "you" is the left or liberals. If you are offended that I lumped everyone together then maybe you shouldn't do it yourself. You labeled every single conservative as morally bankrupt. If you can't take it don't dish it out.

There are nut-cases on both sides of the conservative/liberal battlefront. I'm conservative, but I prefer to debate the issues rather than attack the messenger. However, there are some people that, over time, show a pattern of thought that is way out in left field. In those cases, I may make a statement to the effect of "you're nuts", but I would still be referring to their opinions, not to their overall worth as a human being. I think a variety of opinions keeps this nation what it is - still the greatest in the world. I might add that you are espousing quite a bit of the same hate-filled rhetoric that you accuse the conservatives of spewing.

You know what? Life is too short for you to get caught up in some one else's mental issues. LET IT GO!

You can't judge every conservative by his actions any more than I can judge all liberals by the actions of Ted Kennedy or Jane Fonda. Idiots come in all political parties.

LET IT GO!

The hatred and idiocy is on both sides- I often wonder if we would call each other the names we do if were were face to face with the other person, rather than hiding behind an anonymous keyboard.

That person is just a weirdo. You find extremes on both sides of the political spectrum. I wouldn't lump any group with that person and assume most people are like him.
