I have a friend I've known since Middle school, she now lives outta state with her 2 childern. Her daughter just turned 4 years old and I wanted to buy her something, but all my cousins are mostly boys or tomboys, what kind of things do you get for little girls that would be fun, inexpesensive (like under $25) and that can be shipped to NC?

ask her mom what she 'needs' right now. i always like books for my little girl, not dresses or toys, because these can be particularly liked or disliked, which if falls into latter category could be a waste of time, effort, and money for the giver. If falls into former category, you are probably lucky to have gotten it right. ask her mom what kind of books or characters she likes. or how about puzzles? there's a puzzle shop at jurong point that sells puzzles of every sort for every age. even many versions of disney princesses. I think it's called Puzzle World or something like that and is tucked away in a cosy corner near Fish & Co restaurant.

A little pocketbook filled with dollar bills. Or if you dont mind spending a little more on the postage cause it will weigh more, send a pocketbook full of quarters. All little girls love to shop or receive money.

Being the best mom you can be. ....material possessions mean nothing to a 4 year old. Give her a gift that will last forever in her memory. Take her to the zoo, an amusement park...Good luck hun

My daughter just barely turned 5 but she is really into Disney Princess, you know, Cinderella and Belle and Ariel, and Sleeping Beauty and Jasmine. I think that all of them, but she loves anything that says princess, and she really likes to play dress up.

All little girls love Hello Kitty!!!! If you have a Target in your area they carry loads of Hello Kitty stuff. Little sandels, unmbrellas, bed spreads, lamps, little bedtime outfits, bathroom rugs, towels, cd players, cd holders ( she can put her dvd's in there), key chains and other little toys.
Go to target.com they and put in Hello Kitty. They've got loads of stuff.
Good luck!
