My husband has got this comic strip that we think is really funny, so do a lot of our friends. He sent it to the two major newspapers in the city we live in, they both sent it back saying that they're not interested but the comic strip does have potential. Should we keep bugging them or just start tying other cities? His comic strip really is a lot funnier than some I see. Any ideas would be helpful, Thanks.

His comic strips are 6 panels long and he has enough to get one published a week for about a year, I guess we'll just keep on trying.

Yes, in a local magazine ... Voodoo Highway, 1st ever edition

I don't know how well the magazine did, but to be a cartoonist, you need to have a vast number of strips or panels ready for publication and/or a storyline to push if you intend to have one.

Keep trying and good luck .. you may make it on the third or fourth try
