Job opportunities in geology-related fields include:

Science teacher

The list goes on. You will need a minimum of a bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned geology-related fields and preferably a master's degree. To teach at the college/university level, it is recommended that you acquire a doctorate.

Geologists are sought after by Oil companies and Construction companies dealing in seismic active areas.

i do no longer actual have faith in sin or Christianity, yet i think of that Geology gets a bye on being a sinful technology because of the fact the Christians lay the age of the Earth/Universe/Multiverse on the particle physicists and abiogenesis and evolution on the biologists.

A lot of people go into grade school science teaching, or do grad work to teach on the college level. Some go to work the USGS, and lots work for the oil and mining industries.
