This is for microbiology class its supposed to be in the 1st chapter but i can't find it so i figured i'd pool the world...
i.e. decomposers = fungi

i'm thinking algae?? Thanks in advance

Yes, algae are the primary producers but the broader group is Phytoplanktons.

monavyas15 got most of them, Cyanobacteria are a biggest one but there are also Hydrogenothermaceae. Basically it’s any microbe that makes its own food, either from light, or in organic chemical sources.
