i am 3 weeks late my period and i have done a pregnancy test.. the test has come up posotive but the posotive line is so so light in comparison to the control window line. am i actually pregnant or should i just disgard the test as a false reading because of the line being so different

i was a couple days late on my period and took a test right away..the line was very very faint so i took 2 more and they were the same ....when i went to the doctor i about 6 weeks later i was only 8 weeks along.. so when i took the test i must of just gotten preg, so yes i would take another one and if it looks the same it is very possible you just got preg! congrats...also you can have a false negative but never a false positive

Sounds like you are pregnant because the test was able to pick up some of the pregnancy hormone circulating in your body. It may low - the level of hCG - but it should start increasing. So if you doubt the first test, test again and see if you get another positive result. Or see your doctor and your doctor wil order a test for you to confirm the pregnany. If you are indeed pregnant, then you can start on your prenatal care right away.

If y our period is def 3 weeks late then I would try to relax and believe that youare pregnant. I don't think it matters how faint the line as long as it was there. You should go to your doctors and get referred to the obstetrician for care now. Congratulations!

this usually means that there isnt quite enough of the pregnancy hormon in your body to detect whether your pregnant or not. i think you should go to the doctor and have them test you because you will get a forsure straight answer from them.

Your pregnant though it may be early so yes your hgc might well be low this has happened to me when i discussed it with my sister whom has had 6 children she said it was normal if it is a cross even very faint then you are pregnant

its mean there are no enough of the pregnancy hormon in your body to detect that you are pregnant or not. i think ur body is makeing less progestron you should go to the dr.dr can help u.i am sure u are pregnant

if a line shows it 99% correct no matter how light it is. this happened me twice i have 2 kids. ask ur gp 2 do a test. in my humble opinion ur preggers. ur breasts will feel sore fairly early on

You can't get a false positive. If the hormone it is looking for is there, you are pregnant.

it sounds like you are . my sister had the same type of pregnancy test ...when to her gyno who verified it with a blood test
