Barney Frank is a gay congressman, there was that gay governor in NJ, but he resigned when he came out.

McGreevey former Governor of NJ and Barney Frank said so publically. I am sure there are many more. The most suspect are the ones that complain about gays the loudest.

I really hate answering questions like this but seeing that I know the answer and no one else has answered, I will.
President James Buchanan was rumored to be gay. He was unmarried and roomed with the future Vice President, King, who was certainly gay. In fact President Andrew Jackson referred to King as 'Nancy'. Also King was the first President or Vice President to die in office.
Also, President Herbert Hoover was not thought to be gay. FBI Director J.Edgar Hoover was rumored to dress in women's clothing.

If there was, would it matter? I'm going out on a limb here but if I were to pick a gay president I would have to say it was Teddy Roosevelt. I mean he called himself Teddy, not Ted or Theo. Plus he wore knickers.

Some believe Hoover was gay because he liked to dress up in women's clothing but I'm not sure if that was ever proven.

Gov. James McGreevey of NJ..got caught in 2004..I'm sure most of them in Washington are Gay anyway..
Like it would matter..most gay people I know are smarter than my straight friends..and they are more stylish..
