The Taj Mahal does not need the people's vote and appreciation. Its a Wonder of the World, whatever anybody might say. You will be hard pressed to find a monument in any other part of the world which describes the power of love and beauty the way the Taj describes. Probably, the foreigners havent seen the Taj at night, so they dont admire it.

The 7 wonders of the world are wonders because they were created with technology that people shouldn't have had. Even today we can't explain how the people created the things they did with the technology they had. That's why they're called wonders.
We know how the Taj Mahal was built. It is beautiful, I'll agree, but it's not a wonder.

if you're talking about the old black singer.out of the 60's-70's.. well probably not.. he just was'nt that good ... if you are talking about the famos/ legendary building in india ... well yeah, it seems to be on everyones list. i've have never seen it and probably never will, india [ and tourest sites in gereral] dont intrest me much. that said although it appears a bit "gaudy" to me it is an amazing piece of archetecture and the legend behind it would certainly put it in the running for 1 of the 7 wonders. ... my favorite will still and always be the pyramids of egypt.... havn't seen them either... that tourest site thing?!? can't get into it
