Before yahoo Answers even existed, 9/11 happened.. What was your reaction when you found the first plane hit the WTC? then the second? What's your reaction??

I was leaving for Bangalore from Mumbai by train when my brother called my attention to the TV screen. Oh my God-those poor people, I thought! Then I called up the station to find out if the trains had been canceled. Next morning on the train, I purchased a newspaper at a wayside station during a halt and read all about it.
My heart goes out to all those who lost their loved ones.
I pray that such type of events never happen anywhere else.

I was on watch at the Joint Intelligence Center, Pacific, viewing the whole thing on Fox News (a.k.a. Government Issue News). 45 minutes after the first plane struck, we got our first message traffic regarding the incident.
Granted we were responsible for a different AOR, but it sure made me feel like we were clueless.

I said OMG all those poor innocent people... Then I became frightened that this may be a full scale attack on the country.. then I was furious and wanted to punish who did this.

I didn't believe the scenes-I thought that these were just special effects and animation shots. I wish thats the way it should have been. Courage Americans and to all those who lost!
