About 2 weeks before my period started i was having symptoms and still am. I'm tired and hungry all the time, i've gained weight, dizzy, headaches, stomach cramps, using the restroom alot, my breasts and nipples are sore. Then i got my period a week and 2 days late. It was moderate for 3 days now its gone. I went to my doctor just to be sure, while on my "period", and did a urine test. Everything was normal. I've been having unprotected sex and the last time was probably a little over a weeek ago. I was wondering if the test could be wrong or if it could be too early to tell? Is there still a chance that i could be pregnant?

serious answers please!

Well it is possible for any test to come up wrong. After all it is the human nature to make mistakes. Not everything is 100% accurate. I am sure that nothing made by humans is 100% accurate. Then again I am only human my self. I have heard that about the test being wrong many times where I live, plus like that one answer, there are false pregnacies. I seen those a few times. The human will is strong and sometimes can over power the body. So if you think your pregnant you will show signs. Though if it was me I would get another test or two just to make sure. You can never be to careful...

Early pregnancy symptoms are almost the same as period symptoms, including nausea. If you have tested during your period which was 2 weeks late, and then it came, you are probably not pregnant. The urine tests that the doctors give you, detect the smallest amounts of hcg (pregnancy hormone) so it is more likely that you are not. In order to be more especific to tell when you might have concieved you might want to know wether it was during your ovulation time that you had sex. Predict your ovulation time for a more successful conception. Good luck

It's always possible, but more likely you have some sort of illness. I would call your doctor and tell them that you are still haveing symptoms and ask for a blood test. Sometimes it will show lower amounts of hormones then a urine test will.

Also, if that comes back negative then call them again! Make sure you go to a doctor who can check for other things too. Ask them if when you get the blood test, if they want other tests run too to rule out anything else.

If you don't get answers and are still feeling crappy, call another doctor or to the ER or instacare/urgent care. Sometimes they will run more tests then just your normal doctor will.

Good luck!!

It sounds as if you have most of the signs of pregnancy, even a light period is not uncommon. My daughter has a daughter who is 11 years old now and my daughter had urine tests come back negative until she was almost five months pregnant!! It is true, not very common, but happens. I am an RN and my daughter is an LPN and we were shocked. So, maybe congrats are in order?!?! Good luck!!!

Yes. It's possible you could be pregnant, but not likely. You're body may have tried to get pregnant and that accounts for your symptoms. When women have unprotected sex, it's possible for a fertilized egg to not implant in the uterus properly, which would cause an odd period.

WIth a woman's body anything is possible...

It is a possibility that you are either pregnant or you were pregnant and had a miscarriage. The best thing you could do is see your doctor and have them do a blood test that will tell the HCg level in your blood. That alone will tell if you are pregnant, were pregnant, or was never pregnant.

Good luck!

Possibly wrong.. I think you are pregnant all right! The best test is your body, not some urine and blood test. Many times, they switch patient's info due to similar names... or computer errors. That happens!

either go to the dr and have a blood test done or wait until your next cycle and see if you miss your period then. It might be too early or you might just be stressed from worrying about it.

talked to your Dr about symptoms? what did Dr say? you can go to market or like place & buy preg tests. this way you gave yourself the test & you know there is no mix up - if symptoms continue could also have medical problem - go see oby gyn

as for the unprotected sex- THERE ARE OVER 50 SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES COMMON IN TEENS TODAY + MORE IN ADULTS - MOST DO NOT HAVE SYMPTOMS - MANY CAN CAUSE LIFE LONG DAMAGE INCLUDING CANCER & WITH MOST CONDOM DOES NOT PROTECT BECAUSE CAN CATCH WITH ANY SEXUAL CONTACT!!!!

when you go to dr ask to be tested for as many as possible
