i have heard there is going to be the third one as well. i hope its not as crap as the second one.

yes there is starship troopers 2, i would advice you not to watch it coz its crap.

Yes, it is in production now. I cant' remember where I read this but I was pleased. ST1 was fabulous. ST2 was terrible but in that way that you just can't help but enjoy. I figure ST3 will be worse again, but wouldn't it be neat if it approached the first?
BTW have you read the book? It is acutally smart, where of course the movies are not. Highly recommended.

I hope not. I also hope there had never been a Starship Troopers 1 or Starship Troopers 2 ....Starship Troopers by Robert Heinlein was a GREAT science fiction book that unfortunately got made into the piece of crap movies that Hollywood decided to make of it. Instead of focusing on the social issues explored by this book, Hollywood simply decided to turn it into Rambo in outer space ....thanks, Hollywood, for turning good literature into crap once again !!!
