I'm guilty of this, and I also return any dirty looks I get. Make sure they are giving dirty looks, you could misinterpret these glares, they could be checking out your goods.

could it be that they really dont see you.. maybe they r thinking of something and u happen to walk by while they r having a dirty look on their face. i do it all the time. once this guy thought i was giving it to him. really i didnt even see him.

Sometimes it may be because they think something about you based upon how you look.
Most often it's because they're having a bad day and they're mad at the world and truthfully, they're just glaring at everybody and everything, not at you in particular.
Either way, it's not personal and you need not take it personally. They're having a bad experience of reality and it's their experience, but it need not contaminate your experience of reality. Don't let it.

it is part of our culture theese days. people are way to quick to judge, and i think it also comes from being lazy here in the US. we dont want to think about who that person really is so we just throw them in a group that we dont really know about. that gives the idea that they are just like the rest of the people we have thrown in to that group, and if we dislike one of them, it will give an uneasyness about the person we have just added.

They are rude, inconsiderate people. It's hard, but the best thing to do is ignore them. You may never see them again, so why care what they are thinking...:)

they are jealous of what you have and they think that they should allways have more or better than someone they dont know.
