I have done every thing. I have done disk clean up and all that. what do I need to do. my video card is for the game. some times the game never get to full screen mod. safe mode is the same. its a great game, but it won't work 1/2 the time and when it does it frezes.

If it's NFS most wanted, insert your CD and choose check for update. It fixed my feeze-up problems.

Try boiling it. This is an extreme alternative and should not be taken lightly. If you do it wrong you can warp the disk, but I've never had that happen. Boil up some water and put the disk in it data side down for twenty minutes. Don't worry about stirring it, the bubbles will keep it top side. Put some salt in it to help with the boiling process. When it's use a strainer or a pair of tongs to GENTLY remove the disc. Let it air cool, putting cold water on it will make it shatter. When all's said and done it should work if it didn't get warped. Check that first. I did this with my third disc of FF 7 and it worked like a charm.

If you are playing from the CD, download a Virtual CD/DVD player and try running it from there. Alcohol 120 for instance..
