They said it's 12.95 a month for coupon booklets for 60 months and the magazine subscriptions are free for 60 months. Did I get scamed??

Best thing to do if you receive a call like that is to ask the caller to send you information by mail. If it's a legitimate business, then they shouldn't balk at doing so. If they hassle you about it, then request to be put on their "do not call" list. It's strongly advised that you do NOT give out your credit card number to anyone who initiates a cold call to your phone number. Ask if there's a number where you can call them back, or ask for the name of the business & check it out first with the Better Business Bureau.

Sounds like a scam to me. I worked at a call center and took magazine orders. People would call us quite often looking for their "free" magazines or the ones they paid an unbelievably low price for. It could also be that you were sold this deal through a 2nd party, that is, an agency that resells subscriptions. Some of these agencies are fly by nighters who just want to make a quick buck. Some are legitimate though.

No you didn't get scammed. How dare you. Your money probably went to help blind kids just like my magazine subscription did.
