I don't know about him "coming" in the divine sense but his life, death & legacy are powerful examples to us all of what one person can accomplish.....whether you prefer the historical jesus or the jesus of faith, his legacy is quite something.

Jesus came to this world full of grace and truth.

Grace to forgive sin (the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world).

Truth to restore men to the knowledge of God.

God's nature as infinately just requires payment for sin (attonement).

In mercy and goodness God himself pays.

Good question.

I have a question for you Zalim.

Allahu akbar.

How great?

Is knowledge of God's greatness (nature) knowable?

If so, is knowledge of God's justice knowable as well?

If so, why would any deny the infinite justice of God by saying there is no attonement?
