From Sam Raimi, to George Romero and Resident Evil, Zombies are everywhere but what is the top Zombie flick?

This is my favorite genre of horror movies. Even if the movie isn't the best (Land of the Dead,) Romero has a way to just creep me out. Should Raimi be in here? I consider his more "demon" movies. Resident Evil should kneel before 28 days later. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but 28 had the same concepts and totally ran away with it.
Lucio Fulci is also one of the top. Zombie and The Gates of Hell are incredible Zombie flicks and when Romero was working on "Dawn," he would contact Lucio for his opinion on things...
Boy, tough decision...I am going to have to go with the original Dawn of the Dead.

Dawn of the dead, the new version, has more character development and gore! Of course nothing compares 2 the 60's "Night of the living dead". Besides George Romero is the father from the Zombie genre

I love all the Romero flicks but I gotta go with 28 Days Later. That just seemed like it could really happen.

The Night of the Living Dead is the best-- chalk full of entertainment and society metaphors.
The worst is 28 Days Later-- a stupid, repetitive movie with terrible cinematography.
