Could be he knows oil supplies are dwindling in Saudi Arabia where he has co-harts. Knew he had to do something to keep up his flow of money to himself and cronies based on oil production and trade. Somehow I think the Saudi's are in on this somewhere.

Since America was the biggest cutomer and bought most of the oil from Iraq. What would have been the point?
The war stopped the flow of oil at the time and severely restricted it for a long time thus hurting americas interests and actually reducing it's ability to get oil! America still buys - yes - BUYs the oil from Iraq and never stolen any.
Whoever started this rediculous suggestion in the first place was obviously an enemy of the United States. The people who repeat it all seem to be anti-Americans or peacenicks.
The real problem though is that so many people have been gullible enough to believe it or repeat it without even trying to look at the basic facts.
It does help us in someways though as, as soon as someone trots it out you just know anything they say after that is not worth paying attention to and you would be better looking for someone intelligent to talk to!

Look in your driveway for the answer, there....also, look up Standard Oil on the web, and really go to school on them.
The oil business didn't start yesterday, and the war in Iraq is just a natural progression of what people haven't batted an eye at for, hmm, the last 80 years or so, give or take...if YOU drive a car, step forward and take a bow...'cause you're unwittingly part of the problem maybe, but still part of it. We have INSANE fuel demand in america, something like an estimated 180 billion gallons per year, 35% of which gets wasted by lazy stupid people.
You're not one of THOSE, are you? LOL

Because he is an oil monger and only cares to make his oil corporate buddies richer and then he wants to destroy Alaska and trash the land with pollution so the animals will have no where to live. It would take years to pipeline oil from Alaska so if we are lucky the next President will find other ways for energy like windmills and solar. Which would cost no more than a pipeline from Alaska

No body is stealing anyone's oil.
Prior to the invasion, only Saddam and his family were profiting from the oil that belongs to the people of Iraq. How many solid gold toilets does a man need?
If you can only see through your lens of prejudice, then there is nothing else to say.

You idiot, they came over here, in the form of large planes crashing into towers and killing thousands of innocent people. Those "people" have been f***ing with us for years and its about time we return the favor. In my opinion, we should take over that sorry *** excuse for a country, then when total dumb asses like you scream we are stealing from them I can have the pleasure of telling you no, we are not, we are simply taking payment for all the lives lost during 911, for all the soldiers that die every day trying to protect those "people" from their own damn government, for all the worry a mother has while her son or daughter is fighting for YOUR freedom, which you obviously don't appreciate, for the 3yr old little girl who just can't understand why daddy is STILL in the desert. I say we send your lazy, ignorant butt over there to make sure no one is pillaging barrels of crude oil while trying to protect the lives of Americans.

Why did YOU go to Iraq to steal their oil, hmmm...? The question sort of assumes the answer, doesn't it! So how do you like being accused? Then maybe you should stop accusing other people, huh?

We have not taken ONE DROP of oil during either war in the middle east. So, I guess the answer to that one is pretty much a big resounding NO.
Can you libs get off of that one? SHOW ME where we have taken any oil. NO, THE WAR WAS NOT FOR OIL.
