USE SUNSCREEN!! and I would suggest few intervals with the sun. Start now, and work to the color you desire.

If your going to go to a tanning salon, you want to start off with getting a good lotion, and start out at 5 minutes in a 20 minute bed. Do that once or twice a week, if you don't burn then up it to about 7 minutes, since you tan easy you will probably accelerate much quicker than I do because all I do is burn. Once you get up to like 20 minutes, upping it a little more each time, you can go for either 20 minutes in a 20/bed or 10 minutes in a 10/bed once a week just to maintain the tan, but if you ever burn, you have to wait for the burn to go away otherwise you'll just burn more. Like I said, I burn easy, but I've managed to get up to 10 minutes in a 10minute bed and I only go once a week now just to maintain it. But when you first start out you have to go a little more often to get that base tan. Be sure to get a good lotion, because that will help you tan more, quicker, and keep your skin moisturized and healthy.

Hope it helps

Fisrt of all congratulations on your soon wedding ... exciting !!!! I want you to understand the rays from the sun: UVA and UVB.... UVA is the one that destroys your elasticin and collagen (the same ones that when we grow older they start the diminish the production) and this is what makes the 90% of aging signs and the tanning slons have these rays. Also the UVB is the ray that burns you and contributes to skin cancer. What you need are products that help you get protected form both rays and always try to avoid the SPF over 30 because these will cause your skin to get irritated. I would recommend to get a tan at least 2 days before, of course protecting yourself. I use these great products that help me get a nice tan and they also have a tan enhancer taht makes your tan last longer.... https://secure.myarbonne.com/arbonne/arbonnepuertorico.nsf/p1/1?OpenDocument&shoppingcart=1 the best part is that they have ingredients for anti aging.... wonderful...and the hair protectn is just divine because it also works like a detangler..... and you could also use the "chap stick" hey have to protect and hydrate your lips .......Good lck on your wedding .....and on the tan

spray tan or a 30 min ultra bronzing bed. you will not burn in the ultra bronze. it tans the top 2 layers of your skin. you need to go 3 times every other day. then once a month to maintain to tan.

Erm, you didnt say if your using the sunbeds or fake tan? if your using sunbeds start of with the minimum time limit, e.g three mintures and use a tan accelator and build up the time limit gradually! If using fake tan, do the same start to gradually build it up, but reguarlly use a exfoliater to get rid of dead skin! :) Enjoy!

DO NOT LAY IN TANNING BED!!! It's so bad for your skin, and you'll seriously regret it later on... try Neutrogena's mist self-tanner.. it's really natural and super easy to apply... no rubbing involved!! It also dries in under 5 minutes so it's quick enough to do it right before work or before you go to bed!! Happy Tanning!

tantowels self-tanner are da BEST. no streaks and you won't turn orange, the color develops in just 3 hours and you can apply more immediately to get deeper if you want. Best part is it doesn't come off in water or stain ur clothes or sheets and dries within seconds after you put it on and it lasts for weeks as long as you stay moisturized.
