My problem is I don't get any alternate music choices in my cable package. I get MTV and VH1, neither of which play music.

Remember when they used to show videos??? That was the coolest station, I could watch it for hours in the beginning.
Now it's all real-life crap and shows that could only appeal to a 13 year old. Where's the Music?????
In a way, it's kind of good, because today's music stinks anyway.
Give me VH-1 Classic!

MTV is crap now! I have other channels like MTV Hits, VH1 classics, and vh1 soul. There they actually do play music. I do not think MTV is ever going to be like it was in the 90's...now all they have are stupid reality shows with people trying to make it in the music business.

I agree with VH-1 Classic. MTV sucks now. VH-1 was a cool alternative for awhile but they followed MTV's lead and started doing the "adult contemporary" reality thing. I say start a website and start a petition. I don;t knwo the # you need but a website could be a start.

MTV Jams and MTV Hits... they play music 24/7... that's all they do is play music! It's nice, I always watch.

The problem is even when MTV plays videos the music they pay is terrible, and when they don't play videos they play dumb reallity shows like Laguna Beach. LAGUNA BEACH!

just stop watching mtv all together, ask your friends to stop watching them, and tell them to ask their friends to stop watching them
as long as mtv has views to watch their shows they will keep making the same shows over and over again with different spins

get all the stupid people who email in and tell them what to play to stop emailing. then, get all your friends to email in and tell them to play what you want them to play.
