I would say that it's probably ok as long as she feels comfortable with it and is having a complication-free pregnancy.

Four months is not far along enough to cause her much discomfort, but I would say that she should only do as much swimming as she feels comfortable with and not to wear herself out. Also, use plenty of sunscreen because pregnant skin burns much faster than non-pregnant skin.

Also, she should probably check with her doctor just to confirm that everything is kosher with him/her.

properly, based on the cruise's contract- you're able to desire to enable them to be attentive to she's pregnant, how some distance alongside she is, and so on. some cruises have regulations on how some distance alongside the female may well be. Plus, lots of the on shore events do no longer enable pregnant females to take part. i became 3 months pregnant whilst i became on a cruise and that i wish I had waited. i became very drained the full time. and that i don't get sea unwell yet there have been a pair of circumstances i assumed i might puke- don't be attentive to which became the reason for that- preg or boat. Plus, she'll might desire to be careful approximately any unusual ingredients that she might desire to consume!

I am a swimmer and found by the fifth month it was hard on my breathing. The baby moves your organs around and I just couldn't get enough air in my lungs. Leave it up to your wife, but definitely have her try in a pool before entering the ocean!

i was told not to go on a cruise when i was pregnant. you need to check w/the cruise line because they may not allow her on board. insurance reasons and such. you have to remember. if god forbid something happens you are in the middle of the ocean with no obgyn around.

That is so cool that you are such a good hubby, I bet you're going to be an awesome dad too. :) To your question, I would say again, as long as her ob/gyn doc says it's okay, it's okay. Good luck and congratulations Dad!
