No But I do think that overcrowding in prisons is related to the pervasive attitudes of "do whatever you want" and "as long as it's what you want to do".

Of course those things are taught by all kinds of religions like Christianity... oh no, wait a minute, that's not right... those attitudes are taught by the religions of atheists and agnostics.... hmmm.....

Absolutely not.

People can still pray in school all they want. Just don't force any one religion's prayers and belief systems on everyone - that's not fair, just, or right. It's an individual choice.

We have overcrowded prisons because
1. Well, we have more people on earth, in the USA
2. We have more sentencing restrictions that mandate jail sentences where people might have received community service or probation
3. People rarely want to spend money to build more prisons.

I see absolutely no correlation here.

No, absolutely not related problems...and for that matter, I don't agree with the word "problem" because I don't think removing prayer from school is a problem. Overcrowding of prisons is OBVIOUSLY a problem, but as someone earlier stated, many many many of the worst criminals are actually highly religious.

no, stop thinking prayer makes people better because it doesn't. I bet you half the people in those prisons went to church every sunday. And I don't pray or go to church or anything, and here I am, living a good hardworking life. Go figure, the person without a god is living a good life and not comitting crime >_>

No! - Only religious zealots would think they are related. Overcrowding in prisons has more to do with social status and economics.

No I don't think so but prayers should be allowed freely in school... and what the heck do black people have to do with it? (previous comment)
