I help raise abandoned wild bunnies and they can bite... but it doesn't hurt much... I actually very rarely get nipped, but it is best not to handle them too much. Their only chance of survival is to remain as wild as possible and only handled by one person. Also if the bunny is about the size of a tennis ball... it can live on its own and should be released back where you found it. Bunnies caught usually do not survive!

I raise bunnies and they are really friendly. if it gets used to you it should not bite you but yes it is possible for a rabbit to bite. my tame rabbit bit someone once because she had babies and did not know them. it was like a pinch but a bite could draw blood sometimes. good luck with your bunny.

It's going to bite the heck out of you my friend. It's very unwise to catch a wild animal and try to keep it as a pet (not to mention it's usually illegal as well).
There is a very good chance of disease in wild creatures. If it's a baby you need to find a wildlife rescue operation to take it. Otherwise, just let it go!

They can bite and since their teeth are very sharp it does hurt.
They can also scratch you with their claws and tend to kick their legs, as if cycling, until they get their way (i.e. are dropped).
Their claws are sharp enough to tear through clothes.
I wouldn't expect a wild rabbit to ever become friendly either. If you want a friendly rabbit you can handle you'll want to get a breed such as a lopped eared.

Yes you can pick it up with out it biting you just try to keep your body parts away from its mouth. You should try it let it go. Wild animals do not make good pets thy usually die because you can not take as good as care as mother nature can so please find it a good place to let it go were it has plenty to eat or just put it back were you found it.

YES THEY BITE!AND IF ITS WILD,THEN YOU SHOULDNT HOLD IT! YOU SHOULD LET IT GO!IF YOU WANT A BUNNY AS A PET THEN YOU SHOULD GET AN ALREADY DOMESTICATED BUNNY! THE ARE LESS LIKELY TO BITE AND YOU CAN HOLD THEM AND PLAY WITH THEM!BUT A WILD BUNNY CAN CARRY MANY DISEASES!

They bite people, electric wires, baseboards, and lots of other stuff. If you let him walk around in the house he will leave a trail of poop. Not a good idea. you should put it back.
