My son was born with his eyes wide open, very alert and hardly cried at all. I heard once that that means something in an old wives tale when I was younger and cannot remember what it was. Anyone know which one Im talking about?

My son was also born with eyes wide open and hardly cried at all. He just turned two years old and he was one of the calmest babies I have ever known. I am not familiar with the old wives tale but I would not pay too much attention after all, they are just tales.

Hmm, I have never heard about this but my 4 month old was also born with his eyes open and didn't cry much when he was born and he has been really, really calm. He also sleeps very well (started sleeping through the night just before he was 3 months) and is happy just to observe things around him!
I wish i knew the saying. Sorry.

sure....My son replace into born huge eyed and able to start the day. i finished up wanting a c-sect- yet while they first extra him over to me, and his first photos at the same time as they did his assessment interior the OR, his eyes have been huge open!
