The system is set up for people, Not our four legged friends. Why must we leave them behind during these hard times?

the funding is too low to have separate shelters that allow animals.
plus you;d have too much hassle, what kind of animals, how many what happens if they're not taken care of properly or bite someone.
and some people are actually terrified of your fluffy (i can't believe it either being an animal lover myself) and this would not be a time in their life to make them deal with that.

but you could check your local animal shelter, they might be able to work with you for the time you're going to be in your own shelter. just a thought

Because the other people in the shelter may be allergic to or afraid of your pet. The shelters are designed to be as peaceful and relaxing as possible.

Forget the pets..your getting your @ss beaten you stupid *****,,sorry...i just really get pissed of by the stupidity of women..i would die before i let a man put his hands on me..grow up..$hit...give women a bad name...i just don't get it...i know i sound like a *****...but that's just so stupid..pets...your above the pet..and if he beats the dog to give him to a shelter and hell get 2 charges one for human abuse and pet abuse..loser...

Well sweetie, to me...a dog is a dog. A cat is a cat. The ones in danger at that time are the PEOPLE! I love my animals, but if it's me or them, they're toast!
