I'm talking about the normal one men have on neck. Just why?

The Bible only says that Adam & Eve ate "fruit", but a lot of people have interpreted that fruit to be an apple. Supposedly, that bulge in men's throats is a reminder of Adam's sin that was passed down to us. According to myth, it symbolizes the apple that got stuck in his throat. But we all know that bulge is only because of a larger larynix(sp?) to accomodate their longer vocal cords and deeper voices. At least that's what I remember from high school, but it's been a while, ya know?

Cuz the apple that Adam ate was a big piece that stuck in his throat and became the organ of male speech. If Adam had't ate the apple, he would have been dumb and Eve would have done all the talking cuz she ate a small piece. So, guys, be thankful that Adam ate the apple otherwise when wifey starts to nag you would have been unable to answer.

This is the place where the apple got stuck! it makes men and women different! If you are ever unsure about someones gender look for the adams apple, then again in todays confused world there are men who have surgeries to flatten it! Go figure.,i

When eve offered the apple to Adam he reluctantly agreed to have it & when he started to swallow it, god appeared & said he was sinning. He stopped swallowing the apple & it got stuck in the throat. That’s y guys have a lump in the throat & call it Adams apple. “Apple stuck in the throat”.
I guess thats the story behind adams apple.

For, when he first took the small bite, he found it delicous and swallowed the whole apple, resulting in that it got stuck in his throat, Adam couldn't get it out, and it became a part of him. which explains why all men have it, because adam got an *extra* body-part.

Regarding the etymology of the term "Adam's apple", Webster's 1913 dictionary states that the term "… is so called from a notion that it was caused by the forbidden fruit, (an apple) sticking in the throat of our first parent."

The term stems from the myth that Adam, when he ate the forbidden "apple" that Eve gave him it got stuck in his throat.
By the way, we don't know what kind of fruit that Eve gave Adam. The Bible says that Eve gave Adam fruit from the forbidden tree.

Adam's apple is "an apple stuck on Adam's throat"......
For woman, have 2 apples stuck ( u know where).....

One of the mythology stories says that when Adam bit into the apple that he received from Eve and the serpent, part of it stuck in his throat.
