Of course they can. Some people truly believe Bush has the country's best interest in mind and is doing the right thing and hs no choice. They have a conscience and are not crazy, they are simply stupid.

I'm pretty sure I have a sound mind and conscience, and I can not support at all the impeachment of Pres. Bush.

Are you looking at the news? The war on terror has already come to our shores. Groups have been arrested in Canada (what exactly did they do to "deserve" an attack by Islamic "crusaders?" Also just today in MIami some americans who wanted to blow up the Sears Tower in Chicago.

Why do you think we have not had a successful attack since 9/11?

Is it an accident? What has Bush done to warrant impeachment?

Instead of all of you so-called liberals (hardly liberal in your lack of tolerance for any politically incorrect ideas) merely making "ad hominem" attacks against people with whom you disagree, how about some reasoning? How about stating some statutes that the executive branch has violated? Quit with the "Bush lied... Bush spied... Bush is a terrorist... It betrays your own lack of substance and intelligence. I am loath to retort with calling any of you "stupid." That would be as fallacious of me to do as it is for you... Sticks and stones, mate... sticks and stones...

Is that sound enough for you?

For the record, impeachment is not supposed to have anything to do with whether you like the President's policy. The actual guidelines are hazy, but it is supposed to be the Legislature's steps toward a Judicial process. Also for the record, impeachment is merely the Senate hearing on whatever the case may be, not actually removing the President.

It would seem that this question is based on your assumption that your people did not democratically vote for this person. What is it exactly that was done that deserves the impeachment - the fact that perhaps he is no longer in favour? Or that perhaps he made mistakes? Dude, this happens all the time. It's not like he robbed Fort Knox. Regardless of my opinion of the president, you need to make better arguments for your feelings about this. what you have wrtten here is really just you venting your frustration and in no way presents any rational thoughts on why anything should or should not be done.

President Bush had no idea what was going on in New Orleans until four days after Katrina hit, and that was only after two aides smuggled in a DVD to him of news reports showing what had happened. Then afterwards he suspended the prevailing wage laws, gave all the reconstruction contracts to Halliburton, and brought in illegal immigrants to do the labor. Nine months and six billion dollars later New Orleans still has refridgerators in the trees. Where did all the money go?

For that action alone he should be impeached.

You should check out this very excellent book, The Case for Impeachment, argued by the brilliant consititutional rights lawyer Barbara Olshansky and co-author Dave Lindorff. Anyone who thinks this president should not be impeached after reading this cogent indictment is an idiot.

Are just looking for confirmation for your ideas or do you really want a real answer? Bush hasn't done anything impeachable unless you are so arrogant as to say that because YOU don't agree with him he should be impeached.

To the person above me: Why is it that so many liberals support murder for those they disagree with? I thought liberalism was about tolerance and yet you want those who disagree with you dead. That is very scary and very uncivilized. I can't stand what Michael Moore says and yet I have never called for his death. I guess that makes me a bigger person.

Yeah. I can. It is a waste of freaking time.

Look, I want that bastard out of office, but at this point, I want congress working on changing the direction of this country, not impeaching the idiot. It is too freaking late to bother.

If congress starts doing its job, Dubya will start mattering less.

That stupid $#*@ idiot.
