After all, this is not the nose that god gave me, it was givin to me by an angry 15 year old polynesian, so that was like a nose job itself.

I saw a picture of Tom Cruise before his nose job & he had the same problem as me, it was broken too young and now its this munchy big triangle shape.

If I got a nose job, would I be viewed as a fool like most who do?
Or under the circumstances do I "deserve" it?

I am an 18 year old male.

No I wouldn't if it would make you feel better about yourself GO FOR IT!!!!! In today's society there is so much value put on the way you look it is hard to be a little different and if you can fix what you think is wrong then more power to ya..... I too got my nose broke when I was young by my mother's abusive boyfriend and if I could afford it I too would get my nose fixed. Please get it fixed and move on to become an amazing successful man. Thank you

Not at all, if it was something like, you were born with a messed up nose and wanted a nose job, I dont know how I would feel about it, but if it got broken then you wanted one, thats different. I would talk to a doctor, make sure you are at the right age and stuff, I think its okay, especially if it makes you feel better about yourself, then do it! Good luck and take care! :)

Personally, I think it really doesn't matter. BUT be careful or you could end up with a nose worse than what you started out with. Be very careful to choose the right DR. Also, I don't think a crooked nose is always unattractive, especially on a male.

Growing up I played many sports, one was softball. I broke my nose twice during my grade school years and by High School I had not "grown into" my nose......meaning, it NEVER EVER looked like that!! So when I was 16 I had rhinoplasty surgery done and it was the best decision I have ever made! I now look like my sisters and couldn't have asked for a better surgery. SO go for it dude! You will be so happy that you did!!

In my opinion, even if your nose was crooked as a result of heredity, I don't think you would be shallow to want to improve it's shape. It's your nose. If you (or your parents) are willing to pay for the operation, great. It'll help you feel better about yourself.

Good luck with the operation!

No Tim, go ahead and get reconstructive surgery. This is exactly why we have this wonderful thing--not so that everyone can look like Tom Cruise,
who looks like a fool, anyway.

I think that you should get a nose job because it would help you feel better about yourself. If it didn't bother you you wouldn't even ask for peoples advice. Good Luck!

I woudln't say you are "shallow" . And si, u deserve it. Anyway, it is true that God didnt give you that nose, and if you ain't satisfied with it, then by golly, go ahead and get a nose job.

I wouldn't say you deserve it but if you would like yourself much better putting it back the way it was then go for it!!

Most definitely get it if you are having trouble breathing or any other related medical problems.

no I wouldn't view you as shallow. It's your decision to do what makes you comfortable with yourself. getting a nose job to fix what wasn't supposed to be anyhow is corrective surgery not cosmetic surgery.
